Freut Euch auf die erste Cosmic Music-Party in der KANTINE 2, die ca. 200m Luftlinie vom alten Club ihr neues Zuhause bezogen hat. Auf 2 Stockwerken erwarten Euch 4 Areas, die alle für nur einen Eintritt zur Verfügung stehen:

• Flammensaal (Club im EG)
• Schwimmbad (Club im 1. Stock)
• Weltbar (Kneipe/Cafe im EG)
• und Biergarten (unter Kastanien!)

Obwohl alles neu geschaffen wurde, ist der typische Kantine-Look erhalten geblieben, da viele kleine und auch grosse Dinge aus dem alten Club mit umgezogen wurden. Ganz neu sind Ton- und Lichtanlagen, Bühnen, Bars, etc. die Ihr Euch unbedingt anhören und -sehen solltet. Wir sind schon sehr gespannt, was Ihr dazu sagen werdet.

The Smartphone and Pocket PC magazine published by Thaddeus Computing from Fairfield is one of the most prominent print- and online-magazine for PocketPC’s and touchscreen devices (phone and non-phone) and they (together with prominent peoples as Board of Experts) yearly nominate new, popular and innovative software for such devices with the Best Software Award.

I’ve just discovered that BatteryStatus Advanced [which is called HomeScreen PlusPlus UI now] (a software developed by me) is on the preliminary list for the nominees 2008 in the category “Today Information plug-in” for touchscreen phone and non-phone devices and that’s great

What’s worth to mention is that BatteryStatus Advanced is listed along with SBSH PocketBreeze or SPB Diary, which are very popular software-packages in the scene around windows mobile based touchscreen devices and there are only 5 projects nominated in this category.

BatteryStatus Advanced is a 100% C/C++ coded application with some less asm-object-mods, therefore it runs very fast and without the need for additional frameworks. Furthermore BatteryStatus has an extremly low and optimized memory-usage on runtime (even with big-xml-themes).
BatteryStatus was one of the first (or maybe the first) using an xml-based Row/View-concept and derived classes for UI-design on PPC-devices and some more (still) experimental concepts.

BatteryStatus was nominated 2007, but didn’t get further to the finals, so let’s see whether BatteryStatus gets to the next step (the list of Nominees ). If so, then i will give a prospect of the further developments of BatteryStatus-Plugin hehe

Das Alkberg-Open-Air-Festival in Wörleschwang (Raum Zusmarshausen) erstmals 1991 veranstaltet, hat sich seitdem als jährliches Groß-Event etabliert und genießt große Akzeptanz bei den vielen vielen Besuchern. Daher präsentiert die Alkberg-Crew auch 2008 wieder ein Festival, welches seinesgleichen in dieser Gegend sucht. Das Festival findet am Wochenende 1./2. August 2008 statt und bei schlechtem Wetter steht der Ausweichetermin 8./9. August zur Verfügung.

Seit 1997 gehört Afro Cosmic Music zum Repertoire des Festival-Aufgebots, wobei das jährlich wechselnde Cosmic-LineUp DJ-Größen und beliebte bekannte DJs aus den verschiedenen Stilen dieser Szene bietet. Auch wird es in den ersten Stunden (Intro) als Bühne für weniger bekannte DJs genutzt, damit diese sowohl eine Gelegenheit als auch Erfahrung bekommen.

Wir präsentieren Euch die 16. Ausgabe des Alkberg Musicpark Festivals. Um unserem Musicpark Konzept treu zu bleiben, werden unsere DJ’s und Live-Acts Euch und die fünf großen Dancefloors zum brennen bringen.
Neben Main Stage, Rock Zelt, Schlager Karusell/Afro Floor, Karaoke-Stage und dem Alkberg Biergarten stehen euch zahlreiche Themen- und Cocktailbars, wie der legendären Titty Twister Bar, zum abfeieren bereit. Auch für den Hunger ist durch unsere vielen internationalen Food Angebote gesorgt. Als Special erwartet euch dieses Jahr eine gigantische Pyro- und Lasershow.

Um euch schneller auf einen den schönsten Open Air Spots in Deutschland zu bringen, haben wir dieses Jahr Parkplätze direkt am Gelände. Für den Fall das das Wetter nicht mitspielt haben wir wieder einen Ausweichtermin, genau eine Woche später am 08.-09. August. Sollte das eintreffen geben wir Euch rechtzeitig über Radio, Zeitung und auf unsrer Hompage bescheid.
